A beautifully challenging, centering, & heart-opening experience, Annika's Vinyasa-based practice balances strengthening and therapeutic alignment with spiritual connection.  Annika's classes embrace Yoga as a physically & internally transformative practice, empowering our bodies with wellness and freedom while showing us our inner-Essence & unfolding within us the highest expression of our Being.  

The practice of yoga is a journey and discipline that will offer all consistent students a more fulfilling, self-aware, self-loving, balanced, & content life, while also unlocking a strong, harmonious, free & agile experience in our bodies.  Annika appreciates the whole-being wellness that is available through a consistent yoga practice.

Rich with healing alignment, asanas, and effectively strengthening and therapeutic exercises, Annika's lessons and classes are transformative for the body as well as the mind.   Attuned with self-regulating breath, pranayama, Annika's classes encompass the power of turning inward, becoming comfortable in the space between our thoughts and making this healing, centering, and awakening space for ourselves to open to our highest being and experience healing and growth on all levels of our being.  

Infused with echoes of her dance background, Annika’s creatively sequenced classes ignite the joy of mindful movement and connection to our bodies.  Her eloquent instructions & knowledge of therapeutics, kinetics, & bio-mechanics emboldens students to safely develop and advance their practices and mind-body proprioception to a new ecstatic level of agility, coordination, flexibility & strength. 

Annika works for a leading physical therapy clinic helping clients to rehabilitate from injuries and chronic pain, and has found that the same alignment and optimal movement patterns that heals and sustains us, also give us the wings to fly freely in our bodies to experience advanced postures with ease and dexterity.   

With over 500-hours, and two Yoga Alliance certifications and apprenticeships in Vinyasa, Anusara, Dynamic Hatha, Iyengar, Ashtanga, & Therapeutics, Annika’s elegant teaching style weaves transformative asana with pranayama, philosophy, music, mantra, mudra, meditation, and centering practices.
